David Carlyle Award
The “David Carlyle Award” was created within the scope of the EMEA Values Awards 2004 by Managing Director Alastair Kerr. The award will be presented each year to a project that has made a significant difference to the lives of children. The owner of “The Body Shop” in Goettingen Nicole Carlyle will help select the winner each year.
The “David Carlyle Award 2004” went to “The Body Shop” in South Africa. Carol Poolton and her team ran a campaign from October 2003 to January 2004 and by this supported “Childline”, a helpline for children. The donation of 13,218 EURO has funded the training of 20 volunteers.
“If I could help to change the world I would like every child on this planet to have the right to get school education.”
David Carlyle
